John Spence entered the insurance industry in 2004 and has been with Anderson Insurance Associates since 2010. John’s primary focus is on commercial clients, with a specialty in the area of Workers Compensation. His goal is to help lower Workers Compensation claims and increase the bottom line for his business clients.

John grew up with a father in the insurance industry, and from an early age, recognized the need to mitigate risks. He enjoys building relationships with his clients and watching their businesses prosper. John participated in the America’s Cup Sailing team in 1987, 1992, 1995, and 2000, which he and his America3 team won in 1992. This experience not only taught John to anticipate the unexpected while testing his management and sailing skills, but also prepared him to ride the waves of business.
