Hays Ward

Hays Ward is a South Carolina native whose roots in Spartanburg shaped both his work ethic and his interest in relationship‑driven industries. A graduate of Spartanburg High School and the University of South Carolina Upstate, he earned his degree in Business Marketing before beginning his career in inside sales with a manufacturer’s representative firm. Coming from a family with deep insurance ties (his father has spent three decades in the industry and currently works at Marsh & McLennan) Hays developed an early appreciation for the value of clear communication, trust, and long‑term client service.

He moved to Charleston in 2021 and quickly embraced life on James Island, where he enjoys golf, South Carolina football, and following the English Premier League. Outside of work, Hays can often be found on the beach with his 14‑year‑old black lab, soon to be joined by a new black lab puppy. His love for the outdoors and his easygoing, team‑oriented personality carry over into his professional approach.

Hays joined Anderson Insurance Associates in 2022, bringing a blend of sales experience, marketing insight, and a natural understanding of the insurance world. He is committed to helping clients navigate their coverage with confidence and building the kind of long‑term relationships that have defined his family’s legacy in the industry
